I was a little skeptical after reading the previous reviews but we were on a time constraint and had to stop for dinner. The service was awesome! Everyone was very friendly and fast. The food was typical of all Denny’s but the milkshake machine was broken so 4 stars! Don’t be afraid to try this location out!
0 OUT OF 10!!! So the service was completely awful. The server never introduced herself, sweaty chewing on her shirt collar, wiping her face with her hands, hair a mess. We asked how much longer on Our food. The server goes to ask, making sure to be loud with an attitude while asking. Our food takes 1 hr 45 mins to get. The order is wrong, we ask the server to fix it by taking the food up to the counter. The servers dropped 2 trays full of dishes during our visit. She sends the manager over, we explain the situation and the manager offers to pay for our food. Only half of us eat our food the other half is so fed up they don't touch it. We go to leave and they freaking called the cops on us and said we threw a plate of food at one of the servers?? Which never happened. 2 people still paid for their food while the rest took up on the managers offer. The worst experience. Never going back. The cops watched the surveillance footage to see no food was thrown and let us leave. Plus one of the waitresses was tweaking so hard that she shouldn't have even been working there! Completely ridiculous
Mister or Misses Manager on 12.30.17 at 10 am i asked my waitress to have your cooks turn down the radio they are playing. They turned it down but not enough not be a effin nuisance. I used to chef. My kitchens never had radios. I guess if you had an urban type cook, youd let them play urban music that cusses. You just earned yourself a call from corporate. As a truck driver I've dined at Denny's locations around the country. They are generally consistent, with some better than others, of course, and generally good. The Brooklyn location, though, is the best meal I've had at Denny's in quite awhile! Great burger, great service.
its usually good and the staff are usually efficient but i guess we got unlucky. my skillet was paltry and no where near the size it was the last 3 times i ordered it. also, we asked for fruit instead of meat. meat was on the plates anyway. we are jewish. my pancakes were raw. i asked for another set and another order of chocolate chip pancakes, twice. we never got them. when the hostess asked how everything was and i told her. she said, 'well, they already took the pancakes off'. no 'sorry', no offer to rush the pancakes we never got. the waitress ignored us in an effort, i assume, to make us leave, which we did. we were regulars, not any more.
